What to expect
Once you've made a booking with Edinburgh Handyman, be it by email, telephone or online, we will send you an email to confirm the time, date and any other relevant details. On the day that we're due to start, we will show up at the agreed time. On the off-chance we are running late for any reason, we will contact you to let you know when to expect us as soon as it is possible.
If you can, please try to ensure that the area to be worked in is clear when we arrive so we can get stuck in straight away. If we'll be working in a wet area, such as around a bath, shower or kitchen sink, please try and keep it dry on our day of arrival. This will help prevent any delays and ensure that any sealants or paint will have the best possible finish.
We only use the highest quality fixings and materials for your job, which will all be brought with us on the day. You will only pay for what we use and this will be added on to your invoice.
On completion, you'll receive an invoice by email, assuming you are happy with the work. We ask for payment the same day if possible, preferably by bank transfer or debit/credit card.
